Ingredients for the Rice:

  1. Basmati Rice- 500 gms
  2. Cinnamon Powder- 2 Tsp
  3. Cardamom Powder- 2 Tsp

  6. Black Pepper- 2 Tsp
  7. Clove- 2 to 3 pcs
  8. Cardamon- 3 to 4 pcs

  10. Margarine- 5 Tbsp

  1. Sesame Oil- 5 Tbsp
  2. Diced Pieces of Carrots and Beans

  5. Fried Pieces of Tofu or Soya Bean Nuggets

  1. Chopped Garlic- 2 Tsp
  2. Chopped and diced chillies- 2 Tsp
  3. Soy Sauce- 2 Tsp
  4. Chilli Sauce- 2 Tsp
  5. Apple Cider Vinegar- 2 Tsp
  6. Salt-4 Tbsp
  7. Vegan Sugar- 4 Tbsp
  8. Water- 2 cups

Preparation time- 20 minutes

Cooking time- 20 minutes

Standards- Pieces (Pcs), Cups (Cup), Grams (Gms), Milliliter (ml), Tablespoon (Tbsp), and Teaspoon (Tsp)

Preparation for the Rice:

Step 1- Take the assorted rice in a strainable container, and wash it thoroughly till the water runs clear in the wash basin. The caterers use big porus baskets to wash the rice, for better results. Make sure that the rice has trained out all the water, for the further marination process.

Step 2- Melt 5 Tbsp of margarine for the rice preparation. Take a double boiled, or melt it inside the microwave oven. We’re using margarine as a Vegan alternative, as the caterers and chefs use clarified butter or butter for the best results.

Step 3-  Incorporate the fried vegetables and tofu into the sauce, and stir it for 2 minutes. Then add the marinated rice into the frying pan. The caterers stir fry the rice for two minutes to skip out all the water from it.
